NBA All-Star Ben Simmons is on the brink of selling his New Jersey mansion to Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Nick Castellanos for $4.6 million — and he isn’t stopping there.
The Brooklyn Nets’ guard/forward is now reportedly looking to sell his seven-bedroom house in Hidden Hills, California, for $23 million, roughly $5.5 million more than what he paid for it last June.
Some amenities in the secluded cul de sac house include two pools, a guesthouse, gym, three-car garage, home theater, indoor zen garden, and more.
Simmons, 25, didn’t play a single game this season. He underwent surgery for a herniated disc in his back just a few weeks back.
Amid a rather strange year for Simmons, he filed a grievance against the NBA to recoup $20 million from his $33 million contract — citing mental health as a reason for missing games.
There hasn’t been any word on where things stand with the grievance, but Simmons is expected to be ready to play by the start of training camp in September.
