By Jake Kelfer, @jakekelfer

1. Wake up and breathe. Take 10 deep breaths and clear your head.

This relaxes your body and gets your mind mentally prepared for the day ahead.

2. Tell yourself something positive.

It can be anything from “Today is going to be a great day” to “Today I am going to connect with 10 professionals.” Or “Today I am going to make 5 online sales.” By saying something positive your energy levels will be higher, your attitude will be better and you will be ready to seize the day.

3. Look over your goals and remind yourself of your vision.

A lot of people have their goals and vision displayed on the wall next to their bed or in the bathroom. This makes it easy to see every morning when you wake up. By doing this, you remind yourself of what it is you really want. When you start your morning off with this thought and reminder, you will be more likely to do things related to achieving your goals.

Each of these three rituals is extremely valuable to starting your morning off on a positive note. Breathing, positivity, and goal setting are three keys to success and by doing them every morning, you are setting yourself up to make each day great.

If these three rituals don’t speak to you, create your own morning routine when you wake up. Whatever you do, stay positive and focused on living each day to the fullest. If you have a great morning routine, please share it with everyone and me, as we would love to hear!
