Conference season is upon us, and with that comes a plethora of options across the country. When deciding on where to go and how many to attend, there are many variables that come in to play such as the price, the location, and who will be attending.

Only in its 4th year, the Sports Fan Engagement Conference is shaping up to be one of the best conferences of the season. Happening in just over a month, we take a look at four reasons why this event should be on your must-attend list this year.

4. Location, Location, Location

Located in Atlanta, the Sports Fan Engagement Conference is not only easy to get to from anywhere in the country, it is economical as well. With round trip flights from NYC to ATL starting at $152 and ones from San Francisco starting at $216, you can spend less than $500 to travel and stay.

Beyond being relatively inexpensive to get to, Atlanta is a thriving area for sports business professionals. Home to three major sports franchises, the College Football Hall of Fame and multiple agencies, the opportunity to connect with professionals both inside and outside of the conference is second to none.

3. Venue

Hosted in the gorgeous DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta — Downtown, you will be steps away from the best the city has to offer.

Philips Arena, the Georgia Dome, Mercedees-Benz Stadium, Olympic Park and the aforementioned College Football Hall of Fame are all within walking distance, giving you the opportunity to see some of the best venues in sports while in town.

2. Topics and Tracks

Over the course of the two days, you will be able to not only learn together as a group, but split off into separate tracks to take a deeper dive into a topic that may interest you more.

For example, Day One starts off with four panels before lunch and one after before breaking off into a marketing track and a digital track.

Of course you can bounce back and forth between both, but having tracks allows for topic specific focus and more of the information you want to be learning.

Topics over the course of the two days will include everything from engaging fans throughout a winning season to how Houston is marketing this year’s Super Bowl.

1. Quality of Speakers

With over 50 speakers in attendance including the likes of Jonathan Gantt, Kara Hutchinson, Jeremy Darlow, TJ Ansley, and Michael Ehrlich to name a few, you will have the opportunity to learn from those who are not only shaping the future of our industry, but doing so at the highest level.
