Jameis Winston’s Media Rise Continues on Omaha’s ManningCast

Winston, who has earned plaudits for his past hits on Fox Sports, will appear on Peyton and Eli’s ManningCast on Saturday night late in the first quarter.

Syndication: The Record

Jameis Winston is building a broadcasting career before he hangs up his cleats, and the progression will continue on Saturday night’s ManningCast.

Winston will appear with Peyton and Eli Manning late in the first quarter of the brothers’ 49ers-Seahawks simulcast on ESPN2, a rep for Omaha Productions confirmed to Front Office Sports.

Winston, the backup quarterback who started two games for the Giants this season while starter Jaxson Dart was injured, previously appeared on Fox’s Sunday NFL studio shows earlier this season.

He also gained plaudits for his likability as a digital correspondent for Fox Sports during Super Bowl week last year in New Orleans (where Winston played four seasons earlier in his career).

During one viral moment, Winston asked Saquon Barkley who should sign him as a free agent in the offseason.

Barkley joked that the Giants (Barkley’s former team) needed a quarterback. That wound up being exactly where Winston signed.

When Winston retires from the NFL, he will have no shortage of options in media.
