Fans continue to support Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin in the wake of his horrible medical situation.
Since Monday night, Hamlin’s blue home jersey has been the top seller among all sports on Fanatics, a company spokesperson confirmed to FOS.
On Fanatics online store, the standard Hamlin jersey takes the top spot, while the women’s version of the jersey is third and the Bills’ custom jersey comes in at fifth. The 49ers’ Christian McCaffrey and the Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes fill out the top five.
In response to the uptick in sales, Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin announced that the company — along with the NFL and NFLPA — would donate all proceeds from the jersey’s sales to Hamlin’s Chasing M’s Foundation.
As of Tuesday afternoon, the charity’s holiday toy drive had raised over $4 million. As of Wednesday afternoon, it has surpassed $6.5 million in donations.
After collapsing on the field during Monday Night Football against the Cincinnati Bengals, Hamlin remains in critical condition in the intensive care unit — but the 24-year-old’s health is reportedly “moving in a positive direction.”
