A pioneer of sports gambling content is making a big move.

Chad Millman, who was a co-founder of Action Network and was previously the editor-in-chief of ESPN the Magazine and ESPN.com, is expanding his role at Colin Cowherd’s podcast network, The Volume, with a new show, sources told Front Office Sports

Millman is slated to host a new betting show, Sharp or Square, to run four times a week on audio and video platforms. It will air on Tuesdays and Thursdays and twice on Sunday during football season—in the morning before NFL action, and then again at night. Millman’s co-host will be Simon Hunter, a gambling analyst who also worked at Action Network.

The new show launches Tuesday.

Millman and Hunter previously hosted the show The Favorites for Volume. This show is being scrapped in favor of new feeds for Sharp or Square

Over the weekend, Millman announced he was resigning from Action Network, the platform that he co-founded with backing from The Chernin Group in 2017. Action Network was acquired by the European sports betting media group, Better Collective, for $240 million in 2021.

At ESPN, Millman was one of the first figures in mainstream media to cover sports gambling seriously.

At Volume, Millman will join a stable of sports shows hosted by Nick Wright, Draymond Green, Richard Sherman, Daniel Cormier, Sophie Cunningham, John Middlekauff, and Jason Timpf. Cowherd also hosts a thrice-weekly podcast for the network, and The Volume has been expanding into entertainment content, including Joe and Jada with Fat Joe and Jadakiss, and New Rory & Mal.

Millman and officials for Volume declined to comment.
