Dan is the Editor in Chief of FOS.

Prior to FOS, he was EIC at Decrypt, and prior to that covered sports business, tech, and media for years at Fortune and Yahoo Finance.

He has also written for Time, Vice, Deadspin, Air Mail, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, The Paris Review, NPR, Salon, The Morning News, and many more. He's the author of the 2013 book "Zoom: How to Supercharge Your Career." He graduated from Middlebury College and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.

Dan is based out of the FOS office in New York.
