FOS Expands to TV More Details

Episode 3: Rex Chapman

Drafted 8th overall in the 1988 NBA Draft, Rex Chapman was a star. He left Kentucky as a legend, named to the All-SEC Team and All-American Team in his final season.
Chapman went on to play 12 seasons in the NBA for four different teams. Injuries plagued the latter half of his career, and the road that followed his retirement was a difficult one.

After retiring from the NBA, he served as color commentator on TNT and worked for a decade in NBA front offices, including VP of Player Personnel for the Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets.

After years of struggling with opioid addiction, Chapman got sober and has been re-inventing himself and his life ever since — most recently gaining fame for sharing videos of light-hearted or inspiring stories to his 1.2M Twitter followers.

He’s taking his positivity to the next level at CNN+ where he hosts the weekly show, Rex Chapman. The show will feature intimate conversations with athletes, entertainers and everyday heroes as Chapman looks for the silver lining beyond today’s toughest headlines.
