Annie Costabile Explains How WNBA Deal Came Together

After 100 hours of negotiations, the WNBA and WNBAPA reached a historic deal that WNBA player leadership says “redefines what it means to be a professional in this league.”

Front Office Sports reporter Annie Costabile was staking out the negotiations for 8 straight days, and despite her lack of sleep, joins to explain the details of the deal — and takes us through the moment where it all came together.

Still looming is the official vote on the deal, which needs to be approved by both the WNBA Board of Governors and the Players Association. Follow Front Office Sports for additional updates around this ongoing story.

A new weeknight TV show breaking down the business and culture of sports, premiering September 14th.
