The LPGA is partnering with Golf Saudi.

The Aramco Championship at Shadow Creek Golf Club in Las Vegas—a co-sanctioned event with the Ladies European Tour in partnership with Golf Saudi—was announced Wednesday and features a $4 million purse and a 120-player field.

The competition, scheduled for March 30–April 5, will feature a 72-hole stroke-play format. While the LET’s partnership with Golf Saudi is five years in, beginning in 2020 with the creation of the Aramco series, this marks the first time the LPGA is partnering with Golf Saudi.

“The Aramco Championship, part of the PIF Global Series, at Shadow Creek reflects exactly where we’re headed in building the global schedule for our tour,” LPGA commissioner Craig Kessler said in a statement. “We often talk about routing, courses and purses — and this event checks every box: a spectacular West Coast setting, an iconic course and a purse that continues our momentum in raising the bar for our athletes. We also recognize that partnerships like this — built on the LET’s longstanding collaboration with Golf Saudi and PIF — can help strengthen the women’s game on a global scale and elevate opportunities for our athletes.”

LPGA golfers competed for a historic $131 million in purse money over the course of the 75th anniversary season in 2025, which included a 33-event schedule.

The Aramco Championship at Shadow Creek follows news that broke in September that the course would no longer be featured on the 2026 LPGA schedule. The Las Vegas course previously hosted the T-Mobile Match Play, the only match play event on the tour’s schedule.

While this tournament isn’t being played under the same format, the championship rectifies what would have been the loss of a popular tour event.

Australian golfer Minjee Lee currently leads the LPGA in earnings in 2025, with more than $3.8 million through 20 events. The tour, which began with the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions on Jan. 30, concludes with CME Group Tour Championship in Naples, Fla., Nov. 20-23.
