Dodgers Reportedly In Talks To Play Games In Paris In 2025

  • London will also host MLB games in 2023, ’24, and ’26.
  • L.A. has played regular-season games in Australia and Mexico in past seasons.

It appears the Dodgers will take their star-studded show to the City of Light in 2025 as MLB continues to expand its international presence.

According to Reuters, Los Angeles is in talks to play a game at the 80,000-seat Stade De France in Paris that summer. The number of games and the Dodgers’ opponents haven’t been disclosed.

As part of the new CBA, the league and players association reportedly agreed to play more games internationally over the next five years, with Paris, London, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic cited as destinations.

On Monday, MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred and London mayor Sadiq Khan announced a strategic partnership that includes regular-season games in London in 2023, ’24, and ’26.

MLB has previously staged games in Europe — the Yankees played two games against the Red Sox in London in 2019. The Dodgers have already played regular-season games in Sydney (2014) and Monterrey, Mexico (2018).

Baseball is following the lead of the NFL, which has put an emphasis on growing the sport internationally.

Last week, the NFL announced the matchups for five games to be played outside the United States in 2022, including its first-ever game in Germany, three contests in London, and another in Mexico City.
