Quarterback Lamar Jackson is staying with the Baltimore Ravens under a new five-year deal worth $260 million. The agreement includes $180 million guaranteed, according to Josina Anderson.

The $260 million represents the largest contract ever for an NFL player, beating out the deal fellow quarterback Jalen Hurts recently signed with the Philadelphia Eagles for five years and $255 million with $178 million guaranteed.

Jackson, 26, acted as his agent throughout his contract negotiating process. He was drafted with the last pick of the first round by the Ravens in 2018 and won NFL MVP in 2019, but injuries have limited him to 12 games in each of the past two seasons.

Details are not yet clear on Jackson’s annual salary by year. Here’s a top-ten list of the highest average salaries for NFL players after Jackson’s $260 million deal, per data from Spotrac.
