Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson and his wife Ciara have purchased a $25 million home in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado, setting a record for a Denver-area single-family home.
The couple broke the previous record held by former Broncos head coach Mike Shanahan at $15.7 million for a 13-bedroom home, which is in the same neighborhood.
Built in 2018, Wilson’s new 20,060-square-foot mansion has four bedrooms and 12 bathrooms and features an indoor swimming pool, basketball court, guest apartment, and nine-car garage.
Last month, the Seattle Seahawks traded Wilson to the Broncos in one of the biggest swaps in NFL history.
This upcoming season, the nine-time Pro Bowler will play out the third season of a four-year, $140 million contract he signed in April 2019.
Earlier this week, the couple listed their Seattle estate for $28 million. The 11,000-square-foot property, which was bought in 2015 for $6.7 million, includes a theater, gym, three-story elevator, yoga studio, and a sports court.
The estate also boasts terraced gardens, a two-story treehouse, and a private dock on Lake Washington.
