Both entities look to turn the page in their relationship.
In February, Stewart-Haas Racing filed a lawsuit against primary sponsor Nature’s Bakery for breach of contract. In July, the lawsuit has been settled and the company will sponsor four races in 2017 between Danica Patrick and Clint Bowyer.
Nature’s Bakery will sponsor the №10 of Patrick this Saturday at Kentucky in their Feeding America spotlight, as part of the ‘Baking it up a notch in the fight to end hunger’ initiative. The №14 of Bowyer will feature sponsorship at New Hampshire, Pocono and Michigan. In addition, Nature’s Bakery will donate checks to local food banks of Loudon, NH, Long Pond, PA and Brooklyn, MI.
“We’re proud to enhance our partnership with Feeding America by drawing attention to the organization’s crucial work through placement of its logos on Danica Patrick and Clint Bowyer’s Ford Fusions,” said founder Dave Marson.
The partnership with Feeding America is much more off the race track than the marketing and sponsorships show. They will collaborate to donate 1.65 million meals to struggling families and 135,000 lbs of their own product to Feeding America’s network.
