This year’s award also set a new benchmark for participation, with the highest count of companies up for consideration – 28% higher than 2023 and 31% above the average of the past four years. This milestone reflects the growing recognition of the importance of employee feedback in shaping workplace culture.

In collaboration with Canvs, a leading AI-driven insights platform, this year’s award was based on a rigorous analysis of employee feedback. The process included a blend of two key types of survey responses designed to uncover employee satisfaction, emotional sentiment and likelihood to recommend their employer to others. These two types of survey responses included closed-ended questions, in which employees provided direct responses and were scored based on levels of engagement across participating organizations and open-ended responses. Using Canvs AI, responses were analyzed for emotional sentiment and keywords, such as leadership, equity and opportunities for advancement.
To ensure accuracy, all data was normalized, and customized weighting was applied to create a final score for each organization. The companies with the highest scores were named as this year’s winners, showcasing the best practices in workplace culture and employee engagement across the sports industry.
