- The Art of Investing
From startups to board seats, current and former pro athletes are grabbing opportunities at all company lifecycle stages. We assess the opportunities through the lens of the athlete entrepreneur and how the playbook for athlete investing has changed. NFL alum turned UBS exec Wale Ogunleye, NWSL and USWNT player Midge Purce, and NFL alum turned VC Marques Colston join FOS’s Dan Roberts. - The New Era of Athlete Management
NIL has dramatically rewritten the rules for college athletes and what they can do in business while they’re still students. Deion Sanders and his sons are a ‘prime’ example. Constance Schwartz-Morini, CEO of SMAC, which manages Sanders, Michael Strahan, and other huge athlete brands, talks to FOS’s Amanda Christovich. - The Sports Team of the Future
Traditional sports are rapidly evolving, new technologies and pressures are emerging, and fans are consuming content in more ways than ever before. We explore how that affects a pro baseball franchise, in a season when the MLB is seeing its attendance and ratings make a big comeback. NY Mets president Scott Havens chats with Dan Roberts. - Becoming an Owner
Owning a piece of a pro sports team is the hottest investment in town—but with big opportunity comes big pressures. Let’s hear from a former pro turned minority team owner on the trials and tribulations of ownership, and how they are planning to future-proof their organization. Atlanta Dream co-owner Renee Montgomery chats with Amanda Christovich.
The evening will wrap up with hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and continued conversation.
