Annie Costabile Joins Front Office Sports As Women’s Sports Reporter

Veteran WNBA reporter will spearhead coverage of the business of women’s sports.

NEW YORK — Front Office Sports, the leading multiplatform media and news organization covering the business of sports, today announced the addition of Annie Costabile as a women’s sports reporter. In her role, she will help further define and expand the organization’s existing coverage of women’s sports, a major driver of engagement and conversation for FOS.

Costabile joins Front Office Sports after seven years at the Chicago Sun-Times, where she primarily covered the Chicago Sky and Chicago Stars (formerly Red Stars). Prior to joining the Sun-Times, she spent time at The Clarion-Ledger and Comcast. She has also served as a contributor to Bally Sports and CHSN. Costabile earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications from The University of Iowa.

“Women’s sports continues to experience exceptional growth, and audience’s demand for comprehensive coverage of the leagues, teams, and players involved — both on and off the field — is skyrocketing in tandem,” said FOS editor-in-chief Dan Roberts. “Annie is a talented, well-sourced reporter who will help us expand on our best-in-class reporting across women’s sports.”

“I’m grateful to have been able to live out my childhood dream as a reporter for the Sun-Times and, now, thankful to be joining the outstanding journalists and editors at FOS. I am excited to help build FOS into the premier destination for audiences looking to develop a better understanding of women’s sports and how business is shaping the growing industry,” said Costabile.
