Caitlyn Jenner On 1976 Gold Medal Auction: “I Was the Last Amateur

Former Olympic champion Caitlyn Jenner joined Front Office Sports Today to discuss an impending digital auction for her gold medal from 1976, which she calls “the best Olympic Games of all time.”

Jenner says that she was “the last amateur” and that she “lived on a poverty level” during her training, but in the same breath, expresses her happiness for current Olympic athletes turning athletic feats into career opportunities.

Jenner has “built a digital version of the gold medal” and put it on the blockchain, to do “something different.”

Anyone can purchase shares of this digital copy, which Jenner says will allow people to be “part of a very significant part in Olympic history.”

The auction begins today at 11AM ET on brucejennerolympicgold.com
