The Brewers are two wins away from their first franchise title, and as the World Series shifts to Florida, Milwaukee made a historic imprint on it. I was at American Family Field for the first two games of the Fall Classic and saw fan passion that was anything but small-market in nature.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The World Series is now shifting to Florida’s Tropicana Field, with the Brewers holding a commanding 2–0 lead after yet another come-from-behind victory in Game 2 on Saturday. The impact of Milwaukee and the Brewers fan base on this event, however, is still being felt.

After setting a World Series ticket resale record for Game 1 on Friday, the second contest at American Family Field narrowly missed establishing yet another milestone. The low-end get-in price for Game 2, after heading into unprecedented territory at multiple points Saturday morning and afternoon, ended up at $2,269, according to TicketData. That ticket resale figure was $69 less than the series opener but still more than $450 higher than any other World Series game in history.

Brewers fans, meanwhile, have set a series of league records for merchandise sales, including highest total postseason sales, most sales in the 48 hours after a pennant clincher, the most sales of league champion locker room t-shirts than any team ever, while the club also set a single-day, in-venue franchise record during Game 1.

The Brewers hadn’t been in the World Series since 1982; its ardent fan base frequently outperforms the expectations of the Milwaukee media market that is MLB’s smallest.

Anecdotally, those milestones were backed up in Milwaukee in recent days. Brewers merch and logos were inescapable around downtown, in restaurants, in the airport, and on car bumper stickers.

The Brewers rebounded from a 4–0 deficit after a half-inning of play in Game 2 to win 5–4. Milwaukee is now 6–1 during this postseason after conceding the first run.

“It’s tough for teams to come in here and play. Our fans are so incredible,” Brewers manager Pat Murphy said after the Game 2 victory. “It’s a tough environment to play in.”

Game 3 is set for Monday night at Tropicana Field.

Tampa Tickets Crashing

The Brewers’ World Series lead is creating an opposite market effect in the Tampa Bay area, as ticket resale prices are rapidly falling for the upcoming Rays home games.

Game 3 now carries a get-in price of $548, down by 28% compared to Tuesday, hours after the Rays clinched the American League pennant. The marked disparity between the pricing in St. Petersburg versus Milwaukee raises the likelihood that Tropicana Field will be heavily infiltrated by Brewers fans. Game 4 on Tuesday and Game 5 on Wednesday both are hovering around $700 per ticket.

The scheduled Game 6 and Game 7 back in Milwaukee, meanwhile, are also at more than $2,100 per ticket on the resale market. The Brewers, however, would prefer that the series not go that far as the team pursues its first title.

“Your brain really wants to go there, but you can’t let it,” Brewers pitcher Brandon Woodruff said regarding the potential title. “But come on. We’re human. How can you not think about it?”

Where Conversations Get to Work

The best teams don’t just have more conversations. They turn those conversations into progress. But between back-to-back meetings, endless notes, and a growing list of follow-ups, it’s easy for great ideas to get lost in the shuffle.

Zoom is changing how work gets done with tools designed to help you move from conversation to finished work. That 4:59 Friday brainstorm? Monday’s slide deck is ready by 5:02 with ZoomMate. That 9 a.m. meeting you were barely awake for? A clear summary, complete with key decisions and suggested next steps, lands in your inbox with My Notes. And that “one more thing” at the end of the call? It’s already reflected in the project plan.

It’s a smarter way to work—designed to help you move from talking about what needs to happen to actually getting it done.

Saudi Severance

$100 million

That’s the amount that a group of LIV athletes are owed by the renegade golf circuit. They were offered roughly two cents on the dollar amid bankruptcy proceedings, but the golfers are now seeking a larger “severance” payment, The Athletic reported Sunday. The group, led by Dustin Johnson, includes at least ten golfers. They’re appealing directly to Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund, which poured $6 billion into the league before abruptly pulling the plug.

What’s For Dinner?

“There’s no beef, but it might be a little lamb chops and some gravy. He should stay ready at all times.”

Tatum claimed in a recent video that he was unaware that the Brown-Paul George trade was coming; Brown responded by suggesting Tatum was lying. After Saturday’s win over the Bucks, Brown added that Tatum had a “hell of a PR team.”

Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla tried to move past it Sunday, saying the team was focused on Tatum and that “nobody is perfect.”

Turning Soccer’s Moment Into Momentum

The 2026 World Cup brought unprecedented attention to soccer across North America, but for Major League Soccer, the bigger opportunity is what comes next as the league continues to sustain historically high fan demand. With record growth across attendance, viewership, social, digital engagement, player investment, and fan acquisition, MLS is entering its next chapter with momentum that extends well beyond the tournament.

For brands, that creates an opportunity to build lasting connections with a young, diverse, and increasingly engaged fan base. Chime is among those betting on that trajectory, using its MLS partnership to connect with fans through tentpole events, player-led storytelling, community activations, and experiences designed to make the brand part of the culture surrounding the league.
